We enforce a strict set of community standards and have zero tolerance for harassment, fraud, or unsafe listings. Our Trust & Safety team reviews reports promptly and takes action to protect our members.

Every member is email-verified before they can post or claim items.

Members rate each other after exchanges, building transparent reputation profiles.

Our team reviews flagged content and accounts within 24 hours.

Community Standards

All ShareSphere members agree to our community standards, which include:

  • Listing only items that are safe, legal, and accurately described
  • Treating all community members with respect and dignity
  • Honoring commitments — if you claim an item, follow through on the pickup
  • Not using the platform for commercial selling, spam, or advertising
  • Not sharing personal contact information in public listing descriptions
  • Respecting other members' privacy and personal space during exchanges

Prohibited Items

The following items are never permitted on ShareSphere:

  • Weapons, ammunition, or dangerous materials
  • Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia
  • Adult content or explicit materials
  • Counterfeit or stolen goods
  • Recalled or hazardous products
  • Live animals
  • Items requiring professional handling (medical devices, prescription items)

Reporting & Enforcement

If you encounter content or behavior that violates our standards, please report it immediately using the flag icon on any listing or profile. Our team reviews every report and may:

  • Remove the offending listing or content
  • Issue a warning to the member
  • Temporarily suspend the member's account
  • Permanently ban the member for serious or repeated violations
  • Involve law enforcement when illegal activity is suspected

Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with another member regarding an exchange, we encourage you to first try to resolve it directly through our in-app chat. If that doesn't work, our Trust & Safety team can mediate. Contact us at hello@sharesphere.co with the details of your situation.
